Yup, still giving thanks

I am thankful for the greatest family in the world. Yes, I know you think you have the greatest family, but you would be wrong. Mine wins. Okay, so I'm sure yours is great too. But seriously, if you don't know the story of my very first college experience, I think I should share it with you at a later date, and then we'll decide who has the greatest family ever.

But anyways. They're awesome. And supportive. And ridiculous. And when I'm feeling overwhelmed, like today, they call me to complain about having too much stuffing at our Thanksgiving dinner. And they make me laugh hysterically. (sorry guys, I know you didn't think it was funny, but honestly, I think its about the most hilarious thing I've heard in a long time. really? Everyone is all upset because too many people are bringing stuffing.) They are awesome.
Example: My mom has spent the last month trying to find a new winter coat for me because I'm always cold. Yes, she has searched every store in town trying to find the warmest coat possible. Spent probably 20 hours on this project. All to find me the warmest coat known to man.

Random Thankful item of the day:  I am thankful that puppies grow into dogs. Now this may seem like a strange thing to be thankful for, but I am. Puppies are adorable, here are mine:

Stanley Benjamin Frank age: 6 weeks

Punky Lynn Frank  age: 8 weeks

Adorable, right? But then they turn into dogs. And that is so much better. I'll give up the cute any day in favor of this...

So I'm also thankful that puppies turn into dogs. Because dogs are calm. Dogs do their business outside. Dogs sit on the couch with you for extended periods of time. Dogs can walk a significant distance.

I'm thankful for my family, and I'm thankful puppies grow into dogs.

Have a great thanksgiving! You will find me spending the morning coloring the turkey in the newspaper. Oh yes, my markers are ready. Let the coloring begin.
